iPhone WordPress App Photo Post Broken (4 posts)

When I try to post a photo from the WordPress app on my iPhone it shows up as just the following text on my self-hosted WordPress blog. It is apparently an HTML formatting issue because when I move and change some of the <>'s around I can get it to partially work. As you can probably tell, I'm seriously new to HTML and the only thing I know is what I've picked up from sites in my spare time. If someone could please let me know if I have a setting that I need to change to make it work automatically I'd greatly appreciate it. An exact example of what gets posted from my iPhone to my blog is:

    p>a href="http://blog.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/p-640-480-bcbf6688-a27d-45a0-b752-6a592c0e7903.jpeg">img src="http://blog.example.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/p-640-480-bcbf6688-a27d-45a0-b752-6a592c0e7903.jpeg" alt="" width="225" height="300" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-364" />/a>/p>

    Thanks!

I also saw this on one of the site I manage - looks like either the app or the atom uploader assumes that the images will go into wp-content/uploads. But, if your settings have it set to anything else (such as just wp-content) then the two paths do not agree & you never see the pictures...
You may have to watch out for safe mode errors as well.

chawbs, I know that the images are going into the wp-content/uploads folder because I can see them in CyberDuck. It is a problem with stripping away the <> angle brackets. mku's link is exactly the problem that I'm having. I'll try what is recommended. Thanks chawbs and mku! Anyone else can also check out this trouble ticket:
