    Greetings,

I am new to website design. I have signed up with Ipage and created a website through their Weebly click and drag. I would like to use WordPress, as I beleive it will give me more options for blogging/design (Weebly is quite limited).

When I install WordPress through the ipage control panel, i.e. “InstallCentral,” it says that I have downloaded it (version 2.9.2). Now when I go to my website, it takes a while to load and when it does, it has a generic blue WordPress title screen. So here’s my question:

How do I manipulate/design WordPress now? The Weebly design doesn’t effect it. And in fact, I have to place weebly in a subdirectly back at my control panel in order to get that to pop up at my website. I take this to mean that it is an either or situation. Either WordPress or Weebly.

But let’s say that I want to use WordPress. How do I design if I can’t use Weebly? And I don’t see anything else under control panel back at ipage that would allow me to use WordPress.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Austin
