We have a new WordPress site. It failed during install with insufficient space. On the host increasing space the install completed successfully.
However when attempting to load New Media a status of "IO ERROR" comes up. The file and its thunbnail appear in the library but when you attempt to edit it you get "Image data does not exist. Please re-upload the image". This does not happen with every file but if it happens once for a file then it always happens for that file.
For any file if you attempt to insert it in a page the insert fails and an error "Internet Explorer cannot read this Web Page format" (HTTP 406 Not Acceptable).
