[resolved] Invoice Not Found (11 posts)

When logged in (with a membership account), if I click on "Your Invoice" (the page with the [pmpro_invoice] shortcode) it always says the invoice is not found:

    http://o7.no/Xndrds

I can go to my account and click on the specific "past invoice" that does show up.

Any idea why the Your Invoice page isn't working?

    Thanks!

    Hi David,

Did you create your account as a test account? That is probably why the page is not showing.

    Lisa,

I purchased one of my plans as if I were a regular customer, but Stripe was in test mode and I was using test credentials. Would that make the difference?

    Thanks.

I don't think Stripe in test mode would make a difference. It's hard to tell what is going on without see the actual site.

If you sign up for paid support at http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/pricing/ and send me an email with a WP admin user/pass and FTP info, I can take a look at the site and see what is causing this.

Thanks; it's not a huge deal right now, but perhaps you can try to replicate it on your end. I'd hate to pay and have it end up being a bug. ;)

If you can't replicate it on your end, no worries. I'll try to make do.

    Hi David,

We're not aware of a bug like this, nevertheless Jason would definitely work with you to fix it if it were.

I think the reason that you do not show past invoices in your test account is because you have not purchased a subscription or monthly recurring membership.

    Hi Lisa,

I wasn't using a test account. I "purchased" a subscription plan, as well as had a few other co-workers do the same. All with the same results. The only "test" part of the story is with Stripe in test mode and using test keys. Jason said that shouldn't matter, so at the end of the day, the invoices should show because to PMPro, they were actual membership/subscription accounts. Does that make sense?

Thanks for getting back to me on this!

    Hi David,

I understand what you are saying because I use Stripe on my own membership site using PMPro and and my own personal account was purchased through my Stripe account in test mode.

Again it is hard to say without seeing more. Are you using version 1.6.1?

What do you see on http://www.yoursite.com/membership-account/ page, especially under the past invoices?

    Let me know.

I've since removed my "test" account and I'm currently live. I did try creating an account with a coupon for $0, but then it doesn't show an invoice. So no luck there.

I am using the latest version, but was previously using an older one when I was testing. I guess I'll leave it for now and come back to you guys if any clients complain about it.

    Thanks anyway.

    Hi David,

We've not had other reports of issues like this, and since your previous account was a test account and not the latest version of PMPro, that may account for anything different than normal.
