I am a new wordpress user and just created my first site- jennabeeyoga.com

I have a static front page and I am trying to post to the Blog page (BeeLOG) but the posts are not showing up. When I try to post to the page, it only displays a blank white screen-- not even with the other static elements.

The url for the post is http://www.jennabeeyoga.com/2013/7/19/spandex-farts-too-many-choices and I cannot figure out a way to access it from the front end of the site. I have tried deleting the page and the post and reposting. It doesn't work.

The Reading settings are done properly, as far as I can tell. I have selected the static page option and designated "BeeLOG" as the posting page.

    Any ideas?

The link posted by you shows that you have not set the static page and the blog (posts) page as explained by you. Review the following link and try again.

    Thank you for your reply.

The link that I provided is to the post itself, not to the web page. The web page is at http://www.jennabeeyoga.com and it does have a static front page that I have set up as described.

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

Can you make a test post and post its URL here?

Thank you esmi, that helped me to find that it is not a plugin issue.

I switched back to the default theme and it worked, so it seems to be a theme-specific problem. I am using the Pinboard theme. Do you have any advice for addressing a theme specific problem?

You find more specific help at the Pinboard theme support area.
