Inventory management? (non ecommerce)

    Someone wants me to build an inventory management system in Excel. I can do it but want to see if there’s a simple solution via wordpress.

    This has nothing to do with ecommerce. They are managing donations.

      Store XYZ donates 3 chairs on 3AUG12
      There were already 4 chairs in inventory
      Ted takes 1 chair for the Library on 2SEP12
      There are 6 chairs in inventory

    There are no payments, receipts, tax or shipping calculations.

    What are some ideas for simply tracking incoming and outgoing items?
