[resolved] Invalid Username and Nameserver problem (5 posts)

I recently made a fresh install of WordPress on a new Hosting account but I have NOT transferred the nameservers yet. That is on purpose, as we design the new site and will then switch the nameservers to go live.

When I try to login at the url my host gave me for the current site, I can get to wp-login.php, but I get "invalid username" and the landing page with the error is at http://OLD DOMAIN]/wp-login.php.

I used Fantastico to do the install, which forced me to select a domain to install it on. Is this messing things up?

I have the same problem; I can not log in. I put in the correct username and password and keep getting the "incorrect password" message. When I try to get the password sent to me; I get another error message.

I do not understand what samboll's message means "make sure both url's point to the temp url"

Please contact me or post answer
