   I have been using Windows live writer for some time now and in the last few weeks, I keep getting this error when I go to open pages up

   The response to the wp.getPages method received from the blog server was invalid:

   Invalid response document returned from XmlRpc server

   Does anybody know why this is happening or if there is any solution to it?

   Fixed!

   It turned out to be the plugin W-3 Total Cache causing the error. I will just have to disable it when I need to grab the pages to post
