invalid rss feed (10 posts)

    hi
    my rss feed of my website seems to be invalid. the plugin that I have installed rss feed validator is giving me a notification on my dashboard that my "rss feed has got issues". when I go to feedvalidator.org to check my rss feed and when I enter, http://www.check-howto.com/feed, I get a msg
    1)Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not Found
    2)HTTP error with content that looks like a feed
    I know nothing about coding I don not have a web design background. iam a complete newbie but Iam trying to set up a website all by myself. please help me step by step as to what I need to do.. your help will be truly appreciated

    thanx very much indeed for your help. i have realised that its something to do with the post. iam not too sure about it though. but the moment i added post to the category my rss feed was fine as it showed on the dashboard.
    but now i have lost it again after i have added 1 more page to my main menu. despite of the fact that i have added post aswell. so what is the co relation. i would appreciate if explained.

    If you go back to the validation link it will show you the code that is screwing things up.

    hi
    yes i figured that out but i know nothing about coding as i said so iam a bit apprehensive in touching the code. so please guide me through it as to how do i get rid of that code and where to find it. i would be truly grtful

    If you cannot manage this yourself, perhaps you need to consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you?
