    I'm operating a blog which has trouble with the RSS.
    I've did everything i can to solve this but still the problem lives.
    I dont know if its because of the hosting.
    The blog uses Aplus.net. Did anyone have problems with aplus.net?

    Here is the blog:
    http://www.winestoreblog.com/
    and here is the feed:
    http://www.winestoreblog.com/feed/
    The feed url opens and displays teh feed content in IE.
    But in Firefox, it says this:
    ================
    XML Parsing Error: xml declaration not at start of external entity
    Location: http://www.winestoreblog.com/feed/
    Line Number 4, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    ^
    ================

    I installed feedburner redirection plugin but even feedburner has problems reading it.
    FeedDemon doesn't understand the feed url and also doesn't auto detect the feed url when the url is given.
    What can be done. Please let me know.

    It's due to the fact several empty lines are begin inserted at the top of your feed, which is a validation problem with syndication formats like RSS.

    Note the same empty lines are added to all your pages, not just your feeds. I'd try disabling what plugins you have to see if one of these is throwing in the lines.

    i thought the
    tag before the content tag in the template did the problem, but thats not it.

    These are the only plugin i am using:
    comment count
    counterize
    yahoo/msn style smileys
    Jerome's Keywords
    Optimal Title
    Post Count
    PHP Exec
    Spam Karma 2 - Reloaded
    Sociable
    WP-UserOnline
    WP-ContactForm

    which one of these could be doing this?

    Take a look at the Atom 1.0 Plugin at http://benjamin.smedbergs.us/wordpress-atom-1.0/

    Go through all your plugins actual PHP files. Look at the beginning and end of the plugin. If there are any blank lines there, outside of the <?php and ?> tags, then remove those blank lines.

    Also check your theme's functions.php file, it can cause the same effect.
