Internet Explorer vs Mozilla Firefox (6 posts)

    Mmm... Im confused.
I have a 2 column table structure on my home page, set to 790 pixels wide.
Then a column of cells on the left is set to 550 pixels wide, and the column on the right is set to 240pixels. (This does not include the left and right sidebars).
In Internet Explorer 7 and 8, the width of the cells is incorrect - the cells in the column on the left are too narrow. When the page displays in Firefox, it looks as it should and widths seem correct.
Can anyone shed any light in this please?
    Thanks

for extreme novices can someone please shed some light on how to go about validating markup and css?

my site is having display troubles with IE - even after disabling many of the JS/Ajax plugins - including wibiya.

    Firefox is fine though.

Also is wibiya recommended at all?

Sorry if the question is too basic, but where can I correct the errors that show up on validator actually?

Ive only tried correcting them at the html tab on the (edit ---> page)

Are the errors on page.php/ header.php/functions.php etc?

    Thanks

  5. The errors are probably in your theme templates. You can edit them at Appearance/Editor in your admin panel.
