• I am building group of sites that will look like this:
    http://birdpaintings.net/wildlifeart/

Everything else seems to be ready and fine but these dont show right with Internet Explorer 6. I have been told to chance width of the content. Is this right solution and where in the code I can do it? I have to chance the picture size too? Where to do it?

  • IE has trouble with errors.

So what shall I do? So many errors in things that come automaticly…

But you’ll have to get rid off them nonetheless. A tedious job perhaps, but rewarding and don’t get a heartattack by the number of errors, you usually fix a bunch of them at the same time.

Do I understand right when I think that these are broblems that come becourse of mistakes in the theme? So I have to find all these small mistakes and change the code. If I make the code right will broblems disappear from older posts too?

No, they are problems caused by the blogger = you. They are in your text (posts), not in the theme.

I did add only text and pictures to the site, no html. It seems that every time I have used tool that should center the text or picture there is a mistake. Also adding empty row after what should be smaller header seems to cause mistake. So the tools (similar that you see over reply message space here) in wordpress are broken?

    How to ficks these tools?

My experience is that these errors often DO occur in my theme, but that’s usually caused by me trying to edit something not being enough of a coder. In any case, you’ll have to get the hang of these validation reports. The first error is simple, it’s one of these codes with which you try to center something. What I usually do is view the source of the website in a browser, locate the part that gives an error (with control+F) and then try to figure our where that part is from (a post, a php file, etc.) and edit that post/file accordingly. This is not easy in the beginnin, but you’ll get used to the way things work.

kurssit – suggestion: could you check your configuration of the qtranslate plugin? not blaming the plugin, but i found configuration of two friends’ install wrong and the layout which validated and worked well in all browsers before install went awry. Check also that you have the correct language code.
