[resolved] Internet Explorer Breaks my Site and My Heart (11 posts)

    Hello All

I have begun using WP as my main tool for building a website with a CMS. Love the flexibility, and seems to work great across all browsers EXCEPT any version of IE. IE has always seems to be the thorn in my side even when doing straight forward HTML sites. The site in question is http://www.drleetcm.com

Works on FF, Chrome, Safari, Opera, and of course craps out on IE. I have searched the web for solutions and plugins and nothing seems to take. If anyone would be so kind to help point me the right direction to get IE to look the way it does in other browsers, I would greatly greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help in mending the site, my heart and sanity back.

Oh just forgot to mention that I used Toolbox as my starting point, but made modifications in my CSS and one use of JQUERY for the left nav. Thank you again for any help.

  3. http://www.dr.leetcm.com/ doesn't load and http://www.drleetcm.com/ takes forever. Which one is your real URL?

Also, start with validating your site: http://validator.w3.org/

Yes IE is forever the thorn for so many of us. Having to constantly worry about backward compatibility for a browser that never works as it should just kills so many brain cells and I think I only have so many left.
