Hello,
I am trying to install WordPress 3.1.3. It is a new install not an upgrade. I created the database and the subdomain that I want WordPress to be in. I have uploaded WordPress numerous times. All I get is Internal Server error. I have changed the settings in the wp-config.php file and uploaded that. I am unable to load the install.php.
The only page I can see is http://mik.nastasia.com/page/readme.html

where exactly did you upload wordpress files and folders as they are not in http://mik.nastasia.com sub domain name

They are in /subdomains/mik/httpdocs/page/
Your sub domain name mik should have folder in httpdocs as that is root if it does not have one then you need check where is mik sub domain name redirected to

I have now removed the folder 'page' and have the WordPress files directly under httpdocs in the mik subdomain.
I now get:

- double check your wp-config.php file settings for the database name, database username and database password. This is where most errors occur.
-Then check that you don't need to change the database host from "localhost" to something else. You can get that info from your hosting provider.
-Check you have actually created a database with the same database name as is in your wp-config.php file.
-Last, but not least, if all that information is correct your database probably has a problem with it, and you may need to contact your hosting provider (unless you are your own server).

I finally got it to work...after about the 10th install. I don't know what I did different...but it is working. Thanks :)
