500 Internal server error after updating 1.9.13 to 2.0.40

    Hi Guys, I have tried updating NextGEN 1.9.13 to 2.0, 2.0.11, 2.0.20 and 2.0.40 and every time it causes a 500 internal server error. I can disable the plugin via FTP and recover everything. As soon as I reactivate the NextGEN plugin it 500’s.

    I deactivated all other plugins and used the twenty twelve theme, it still 500’s. I’m on a Unix server running php 5.3, MySQL 5.0.45 and WordPress 3.8. The site in question is http://www.streetsie.com Any ideas?
