I've been wanting to change my blog's domain but didn't know how to do it. I found an article online that said one of the ways to do it was to go to my General Settings and change the current location/domain for the new one that I wanted, so I did. Since then, I can't even log in to my WordPress account. I get the Internal Server Error instead (plus "The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request").
How can I fix it?? Help, please... And keep in mind, I'm no computer guru so please keep your advice as simple to follow as possible. THANKS!!
Not clear what you were attempting. Were you trying to change domains (eg move from http://www.mysite.com to http://www.newsitename.com) or just change the how you site appears on the current domain (eg change http://www.mysite.com/blog to just http://www.mysite.com)?
When moving a site there are two things to do... move the site/database and then tell WP what the new location is. At a guess you did the second part but not the first so WP is looking in the wrong place. To be sure please answer the question above and we can go from there.

Hi!
That's correct, I was trying to do the first: change from http://currentdomain.com to http://newdomain.com.

Can you help me fix it so that I can log in again and then do the domain switch correctly?
Afraid you will need someone with more WordPress-Fu than me. you have altered a setting either in one of the WP files or in the database - but I am not sure which. You will either need to FTP into your WP install or use phpMyAdmin to access your database but someone with a better grasp will have to tell you which and where to edit to fix the issue.
