Internal Server Erro while creating the pages

    I installed everything in a folder on my homepage.

    Installation went well, there´s a connection to a database and no errors in the admin-area. But when I want to view the site, it gives me simple “internal server error”.

    I had some problem with the ftp upload, so in the end, i created a lot of folders again.

    Might it be a missing file? I can´t believe that it´s a problem at the provider

    I have had the same problem Mike.
    I am running WordPredd on my home machine which runs
    Apache 1.3.23
    PHP 4.1.1
    MySQL 3.2x
    And I get the same problem that you do…
    Through my readings on the net, trying to look for a suitable solution I have found some possible things that MIGHT work for you:
    – Delete the .htaccess file in the wordpress root directory
    – Modify the .htaccess file, perhaps there might be some conflicting code?
    – Upgrade your version of PHP, I read one post where the reader upgraded to PHP 5.1.2 and it worked
    – If you are running PHP 4.x download the latest snapshot from: http://snaps.php.net/
