• Howdy all,

I’ve got this weird problem. Every once in a while, I can’t get to my dashboard. I just get a “The page cannot be displayed” type of error. Everything else seems to be working fine. I can access the blog, and I can access everything else on the back end (that’s to say if I am already logged in, like for example on my stats page, i can get to everything except my dashboard)

Here’s another clue: I was having the same problem with my wp-stats plug in. At first it was intermittent, but eventually it wouldn’t load at all so I ended up having to abandon it and get another stats plug in (FireStats). But now the same thing is happening to my Dashboard and I’m worried that it’s going to get to the point where I won’t be able to access it at all!

The weird part is that it is intermittent.

Does anyone have ANY ideas on what is going on?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! My blog is one year old today! woot!

After 30 minutes of not being able to access my dashboard, I am now able. While I was not able, I fired up my FTP program to access my site and noticed it was much slower than normal. Now that I can access my dashboard, I rechecked my FTP to my site and it’s working nice and quick.

Does this suggest a problem with my host? Could it be an SQL issue?

Again, ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, after installing firestats, my Apache log started showing lots of segmentation faults (WordPress 2.1, Debian Sarge, PHP 4.3

Upping PHP memory didn’t help – no looking for another stats program

I got rid of all my stats plugins and asked my web guy to wipe out all my stats tables in SQL and the problem went away.
