• I just found out from GoDaddy that all my tags have to be pasted from GoDaddy to WordPress. I got the tags from NoteBook in GoDaddy for each page but in the instructions it says to post them between the <head> sections <head>.Unfortunately, there is no clear <head> sections it seems all split up between <head><descriptions>

This is what GoDaddy says after showing <head> code between head carats <head>:
To Add Search Engine Visibility Tags To the HTML of Your Website

Open a text editing program, such as Notepad.
Log in to the Web hosting account provided to you by your hosting provider.
In the text editor, open the .html file of the Web page you want to add the Search Engine Visibility Tags to.
In the <head> portion of the file, insert the Search Engine Visibility Tags.
    Save the file.
Upload the Web page to the server.

Does anyone know how to do this in WordPress?
    Thanks,
    GnuABCs

  • This is automatically controlled inside of your WordPress admin dashboard by visiting the Settings->Privacy page from the left hand menu. Depending upon which setting you choose (the first one tells search engines to index your site and the second one asks them not to) the theme that you have chosen will have the appropriate code inserted into it.

So you don’t have to do any manual insertion.
