I’ve seen questions like this around but they are always no real resolution. “smf into wp” or “integrate wp into smf” That’s not quite what I'm looking for...

    Here it goes..

I have a smf forum theme that I want to handle as the core “Look” of my site. (Obviously still using the smf forum features.) I use wordpress for all my blog posts.

Is there a way to have my blog posts displayed or “Integrated” into my smf site. Say if I create a blank page within the smf site, I want to display one of my blogs so the reader is still able to comment.

I just need the content, not the menu's of wp or the use of iframes.

I hope this makes sense!! Thanks Everyone!!

    Theoretically, you can...
However, when visitors comment on your blog - they will be taken to your WP installation, which will, probably, look different than the rest of the site.

Have you ever considered building a WP theme based on your site/forum's design?

Considered? Yes.. I've considered building a WP based on my forums design but my php knowledge is minimum. That's the problem.. So I was looking for an easy way out. The forum design seems pretty complicated.

    WP Theme
    SMF Theme

What would you suggest? Does SFM have a solid BLOG plug-in comparable to WP?

    Theme_Development
Designing a theme is not PHP at all - just the good old (X)HTML and CSS.
That forum you linked to doesn't have anything complicated in its design...

(and don't ask SFM-related questions here; we don't know anything about it; have no idea what kind of plugins SFM has)

Designing a theme is not PHP at all

Quite a bit of PHP goes into making a theme display everything, such as the posts, sidebars, etc.

You should definitely know how to properly call PHP functions before attempting to make a theme.
