Are there any tutorials or articles which explain how to integrate WordPress with an existing web site? Re-organizing the layout and display of the web site really isn't an option. Nominally what we'd like to do is just add a "Blog" link to the current web site's template which will point to the WordPress blog. We want the WordPress blog to take on the same look and feel as the rest of the web site. Is this possible?

It is absolutely possible - you just have a build (create, develop, design) a theme that looks exactly as your existing site.

Posted 5 years ago #Alright I will give it a shot tonight and see how I make out. I am a developer so I do not foresee any problems if this is possible. My only issue is that I only have the content area of the page to work with for WP so I'm not sure if all the info WP needs to display will fit properly, but we'll see.

WP will display only what you tell it to display :)
Take you existing index file: clean the content area and add the proper WP template tags - using the default and classic theme as a guide.
Then "slice" it (or not), add a comments template file and the stylesheet in a folder... and you have a theme.
