   Hello,

   Whenever I install a new plugin/theme, I'm asked to provide "Hostname", "Username", "Password", and "Connection Type".

   Is there anyway that I can integrate this information into somewhere in the wordpress core files so that I don't really have to fill these details whenever I install a new plugin/theme?

   Changing the file permissions on your wp-content directory should do it.

   Thanks batrachoid and esmi!

   The link provided gave me in depth information on how I could do that.

   I just need to add the following information into the wp-config.php file...

   define('FTP_USER', 'username');
   define('FTP_PASS', 'password');
   define('FTP_HOST', 'ftp.example.org:21');
   define('FTP_SSL', false);

   This worked just well. Now, this saved a lot of my time.
