Integrating a linux blog into a windows website (7 posts)

I have looked thru the posts and answers for integrating a WP blog into a web site but none seem to address my particular problem.
My websites are all on the Windows Platform and the Blogs reside on a Linux sub-site.
I would like to automatically update a list of blog titles and excerpts or summary to the Windows web site.
I am OK with html and css but brand new to php ... but can follow instructions.
I need to create 3 new blogs next week so finding our how to do this is quite important to me.

If this has already been answered somewhere and I missed it, I apologize.
    Thanks for the help.

You could install WP on your Windows Server. It's not optimum (since most people here know linux over Windows), but it does work.

Thanks, but moving the blogs to the windows side would open a can of worms for me. There must me some way of extracting the data needed and posting it to the windows side, it's just a little out of my knowledge range. but I'll keep searching.
    Regards

Oh, you can do it. But you'd have to use RSS or iframes (don't use iframes). Basically you're asking 'How do I show my posts on a different site.'

Though I'm not sure how you have your websites on Windows, but the blogs on Linux. Do you mean they're separate domains?

The Blogs are on sub-domains: example of one site and blog
http://www.1939nyworldsfair.com and the blog is http://39wfblog.1939nyworldsfair.com/

Yeah, I hate iframes too but once in a great while I do use them (nasty little critters).

Is there a way to extract / export an xml file out of WP and have it update a file on windows? As you can tell, I'm a bit over my head in this one.

Thanks for you help and time.

Found an easy answer for what I am trying to do.
In Google's Feedburner there is an option called BuzzBoost which with some simple JavaScript (which they supply) you can get your feed. There is also a document for customizing the output via css. Actually it's pretty cool.

Will be implementing it this weekend, the outlook is very positive.
    Again, thanks for your help.
