Is there any way to have the login form integrated into the side of a non content protected page instead of just putting a link somewhere in the site that routes them to the /wp-login.php page? That would be a lot more elegant.

    Thanks,
    Derek

The catch is this, your users MUST register with the Membership form but can login after registered through wp-login.

So this means you can probably use any login form ONCE THEY ARE REGISTERED. I'm not yelling, sorry :) Only trying to make the point that you might run into an issue of folks trying to register via wp-signup if they see a login area, and if they do so via wp-signup then the Membership Plugin will not recognize them.

Does this help to explain? I hope I was clear,

    Best,

    Kimberly

We are preregistering all of the members of the site. I have done that and I ended up using the Sidebar Login plugin which provides a simple login form that sits on the site of the page as they visit the site and now they can log in at any time.

    Thanks!
