This is a timely topic.
i’ve been looking at cookies to possible share information on users so that when a bb user reads a wp entry their info is already filled into the feedback form. however, as this is cross server (most of the time) i am in over my head.

also, there’s been some discussion (none approving, mind you) of creating a wp plugin which would allow the most recently modified entry (comment, edit, otherwise) to pop into the first position. So the blog would be arranged by activity, and not date of original posting.

and lastly, it looks like Matt is releasing a version of minibb. I am sure he could use all the encouragement we can muster to assist him in this venture, and to celebrate his talents, and show him how much we love his work.

welcome to the conversation.
I am currently using miniBB in conjunction with WP, and it works in a satisfactory manner, specially in the template area.
It should be possible to share the login information between the two installations but I haven’t had time to look at how yet 🙂
I’d recommend checking out what Matt’s doing.
