   I have been happily using instapress for weeks/month (or more) and today I tried to update to the latest

   Here is the error:
   Warning: simplexml_load_file() [function.simplexml-load-file]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in htdocs/rand/wp-content/plugins/instapress/PowerHour_Geocoder/Geocoder.php on line 153

   Any ideas? My server hasn't been changed. It is only the update that is different.

   I'm using 1.2.1 and it seems to crater my sites. I'm not 100% certain yet but the two sites I installed the update on seemed to have cratered all the sites on my shared server tonight. I'm going through and reactivating all my plugins one by one and so far this is the only one that causes everything to come to a halt when activated.
   I'm running the latest version of WordPress - 3.1.3 on PHP 5.2 on a shared hosting account with HostGator.
   I'll let you know if I find any other plugins causing problems.

   Yeah when I activate the plugin on either of our sites I end up with 500 Internal Server Errors.

   I can't get back in after that unless I kill the site/process from the server itself.
