    Hi there,
absolutely delighted I came across this plugin.

I have a query though on the "instantly lockout usernames which do not exist" function.

I have ticked the option and when testing I am not seeing an instant lockout. It allows me to attempt to login in twice before the error message comes up telling me I am completely locked out.

    Is this correct?

    Kind Regards

    KatieKat

When that feature is enabled, the plugin will actually lock the IP address which is attempting to login with "unknown" user on the first attempt.

Any subsequent login attempts from that same username and IP address will not be allowed and you will thus see the error message.

In summary, what you're seeing is correct behaviour.

Many thanks for the quick response and for clarifying this for me.

    Kind regards
