    Hi Everyone,

    I'm really new to web design... I think I successfully created a database and username, uploaded all the wp files, but now when I go to ...install.php (http://liasuzuki.com/articles/wp-admin/install.php), I get the following message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in D:\hshome\suzuki\liasuzuki.com\articles\wp-config.php on line 13
    Failed loading C:\Program Files\Zend\ZendOptimizer-3.2.6\lib\ZendExtensionManager.dll

    Any ideas...?

    Here is the wp_config.php code...

    <?php
    // ** MySQL settings ** //
    define('DB_NAME', 'suzuki_articles'); // The name of the database
    define('DB_USER', 'suzuki_liasuzuki'); // Your MySQL username
    define('DB_PASSWORD', 'xxxxx'); // ...and password
    define('DB_HOST', 'mysql10.ameravant.com'); // 99% chance you won't need to change this value
    define('DB_CHARSET', 'utf8');
    define('DB_COLLATE', '');

    // Change SECRET_KEY to a unique phrase. You won't have to remember it later,
    // so make it long and complicated. You can visit http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.0/
    // to get a secret key generated for you, or just make something up.
    define('SECRET_KEY', 'Tq;Ztd]Z=KdXb7y~$s^>[p\'-J\"Fe.wl#7\',z4\"+]p5kYGvjoUqXaW[:VD5]A+m%a'); // Change this to a unique phrase.

    // You can have multiple installations in one database if you give each a unique prefix
    $table_prefix = 'wp_'; // Only numbers, letters, and underscores please!

    // Change this to localize WordPress. A corresponding MO file for the
    // chosen language must be installed to wp-content/languages.
    // For example, install de.mo to wp-content/languages and set WPLANG to 'de'
    // to enable German language support.
    define ('WPLANG', '');

    /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__).'/');
    require_once(ABSPATH.'wp-settings.php');
    ?>

    Could be that secret key line.

    Start over with a new, clean, copy of wp-config-sample.php. For now, don't change the secret key. After it is inatalled, change the secret key.

    OK. I just downloaded WP again.

    Hmmm... Do I understand correctly...?

    Now I'll input my info into the new wp-config-sample.php, including the current secret key. Then I'll change the file name to wp-config.php. Then I'll upload it, overwriting the old file.

    Then I go to http://liasuzuki.com/articles/wp-admin/install.php and try again. If I can run install.php successfully, then I go back in and change the key...?

    YAY! I got farther this time, anyway.

    I got a screen that says that it was successfully installed and gives me my username and password, but I get the following message at the bottom of the screen:

    Failed loading C:\Program Files\Zend\ZendOptimizer-3.2.6\lib\ZendExtensionManager.dll

    ...and when I hit Log In and try anyway, I get a screen that says:

    Directory Listing Denied

    This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.
