Installing/activating plugin on website Homepage

    We are developing a WordPress website for our organisation using the TwentyTwelve Theme. We have personal profiles on the homepage. We want to employ the multiple Smooth Sliders on the Homepage. Will installing/activating the plugin have any undue affect on any other homepage/website content?
