Hello, I would like to install WordPress to HostGator. I searched it online and I hear about Fantastico and Quickinstall. I actually haven't bought the hosting yet but I checked out the cPanel Demo but Fantastico isn't there and I think QuickInstall will upload WordPress.com and not org. Please help.

    You'll be fine with Hostagator.

It will install the self hosted WordPress.org files.

The free hosted WordPress.com version files can only be accessed by WordPress.com staff.

If you get stuck, contact the HG staff as they work 24/7

`Thanks a lot, but should I use QuickInstall or Fantastico de Luxe? Because as I stated earlier, I tried out the cPanel X Demo and Fantastico isn't there.

You'll need to sign up before you can access cPanel and then scroll down to the Software/Services section and click the WordPress icon.

If you get stuck with this, contact me using the contact form on my site.

Which is best to install with?

Quick Install or Fantastico? Or does it not matter?

    Thanks!

Quick install should be best and provide you with the latest version as well as the feature for it to auto update the WP installation for you.
