Installing WordPress in a folder but accessible via root directory

    Hello, I am installing wordpress and I want to put its files under a folder named “wordpress” at htdocs/wordpress. However instead of accessing it via example.com/wordpress, I want to access it via example.com directly. Does anybody know how to do this?
