   Just installed wordpress on 1and1, http://www.mattressdiscountoutlet.com/

   And I get,

   Error 403 - Forbidden

   You tried to access a document for which you don't have privileges.

   how did you install it?
   because everything that should work 404's and front is 403

   I downloaded wordpress, changed the wp-config renamed it and FTP'd the folders and files.

   http://www.mattressdiscountoutlet.com/wp-admin - just 404's - should redirect to login

   are you sure the files are in the root folder? like html or htdocs or public_html

   Well there is no public_html, it's a group of folders because there's different domains being hosted there. Should I make a public_html and change all the files to there?

   no - without knowing your set up...just ask your host exactly where they need to go
