Installing TinyMCE (2 posts)

I'm trying to get table support in the visual post editor, and I found the plugin for TinyMCE tables. What I can't find is the plugin, searching through my wordpress administrator panel, for TinyMCE itself. Is TinyMCE already built in to every wordpress installation? Is TinyMCE what I'm already using when I use the visual editor? If so, why hasn't adding the tables plugin created a table button?

Thanks for your patience with a newbie question.

Ok, just figured this out and feel kind of dumb. In case anyone having the same problem finds my question, the answer is yes, the default visual editor is TinyMCE although that's not immediately explicit within WordPress. Adding the advanced plugin for TinyMCE gives you everything you need, but you have to enable the table features and anything else you want added by dragging and dropping them from the TinyMCE Advanced settings under "Settings" (imagine that). If it seems complicated you're doing it wrong.
