   I am using the WordPress theme Coraline. My blog is installed on HostGator hosting. I have customized this theme and added widgets to it.

   Will I lose all of my customizations if I install update 3.1.2.

   No - Coraline isn't part of WordPress core.

   ...and even if it were part of Core, your Widget settings wouldn't be touched during a core update.

   In what other ways have you "customized" the Theme?
