Installing New Theme (4 posts)

I have a couple questions concerning Themes. Right now I have a customized version of the Word Press Default theme. I've found a couple of themes I'd like to try, one is from Hostgator and the others are from LeadCamp, Inc., when I try to upload them, I get a 'upload failed' message.

    So hear are my questions:
    1) How do I install another theme so I can 'play' with it to see how I like it before I activate it and override the current theme?
    2) Will activating a new theme on my blog affect my webpage at all?
    3) Can a blog's other pages be a different theme?

    Thank you!

    1. Either try it out on another website or localhost installation first, or use a plugin like: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/theme-test-drive/
    2. A theme will not change the content of your site, only the appearance of your content
    3. No, you can only use 1 theme at a time

WordPress 3.4 has the new "Live Preview" where you can look at a theme and even change some of the features before making it the active theme.
