• I installed word press on my new website, selected “Themes”, selected “Add New,” uploaded a new theme file, chose “File,” installed and “Activate”
    The New Theme shows up as activated in admin. However, not on the website. (http://advantageleadprogram.com)
    I did go to “Marketing Theme” to add a video iframe and some other adjustments. Although that should not have affected the non-appearance of the new Theme.
    Do I start over? What could have gone wrong?

    Renee’ (with a French accent.),
    I am trying to install a landing page with a video. The landing page is in a compressed file, which I downloaded onto my desktop. The video is in a separate iframe html to be installed via WP >Marketing Theme >Template Home.

    Hi…

    Let’s start by making sure you have the right theme running.

    Looks like you’re using a theme called “Youtube WP”…correct?

    Hello Tycho,
    That is correct. (although, I do not know how you accessed what is not obviously appearing on http://advantageleadprogram.com)
    You must have good tech skills. If you know how I can fix it then I will follow your instructions going into the admin.
    Ben

    Hi again…

    Are you sure you’re not seeing the theme on your site? Maybe you need to clear your cache?

    I’m seeing a theme by MENTTrade, LLC – orange header, gray background.

    That is correct Tycho.
    However, this seems like a default theme NOT the downloaded YouTube WP theme which included an opt-in and a video. That downloaded landing page/video theme shows up in admin and is activated in WP. Which is why this is so puzzling to me.
    This YouTube_WP.zip theme file was found under: https://customerhub-production.s3amazonaws.com

    Sorry: https://customerhub-production.s3.amazonaws.com
    This may or may not help. Perhaps, I need to download another html file.

    Hi…weird, weird.

    When I go to the URL you provide above I get an XML error message:

    This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
    <Error>
    <Code>AccessDenied</Code>
    <Message>Access Denied</Message>

    </Error>

    Where’d did you get this theme? Did you buy it? Find it?

    (@ben-miedema)

    Tycho,
    The URL must be some general guarded storage on the Amazon server.
    I think I have found the cause. I installed everything except a small file marked YouTube Website HTML. It contains fonts etc.
    I thought the YouTube WordPress Theme file would have everything, since it was large and seemed to contain the website.
    Where would I install this file?
    Ben

    Try putting it in the root directory where the wp-config is.
