'I'm very new at this. I went through my cp on my host (hostgator) to install wp via fantastico. I received a confirmation email with a link to "/wp-admin" (the link is my site with /wp-admin at the end.)
When I try the link I get this message:
"The system cannot find the file specified."
I can't seem to even email hostgator successfully, I'm not even sure if it's them that I contact. Feeling discouraged and out of my league already. Help would be appreciated. Thanks.'

I suspect the installation failed, somehow. Just use Fantastico to "remove" the WordPress installation, and then try again. Something probably just got lost in cyberspace the first time.
