I have it set to start to a static page, from wha I have read on the forums. Have checked that the reading settings and general settings are correct. However, when I try to load the webpage, it gives me a placeholder page saying that the website is under development.
I have no idea on editing the codes, I just edit visually in wordpress.
I appreciate any help. If more information is needed, please advise! :)

You may have host place holder in your root it may index.html delete the file

I believe that im also having the same problem but heres my issue i purchased a domain then i installed wordpress threw hostgator. Published to the web now its asking for a username and pass word. Would this be the same password for my hosting company or from wordpress? If someone could touch on this topic that wouold be great! Thanks for your time, Corey
