    I am sorry if this has been asked numerous time, I have tried most of the advises here but still have not solve my problem, so here's the situation;

    I have purchased my Domain (www.victortongphotography.com) and hosting plan from WPWebhost, After installing their WordPress software to my domain, I was given an address where it should point me to my wordpress login page but I received an error message that shows "Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain."

    I tried to log in and did the Mapping but after the mapping I still get myself back to the old wordpress dashboard without the option for plug ins and theme installations. Please help as I have been trying hard to get this done; my main priority is to have the ability to install themes. Thanks in advance!

    P/S: I am a total noob in these..so please bear with me if I am being a total idiot. :)

    Cheers,
    Victor

    You're mixing up WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

    You don't need the domain mapping upgrade, but you do have to point your domain to WPWebhost. You'll start with a fresh install of WordPress and will have to import your data over from your existing WordPress.com site.

    Thank you very much for all the replies. Appreciate it. The issue was solved, if anyone want to know what happened, well my domain was pointing back to my WordPress.com blog when it was suppose to be pointed back to the new host. After some tweaks done by my host provider the installation n setting up of my new WordPress blog is now fully operable!

    Again thank you all for the advises!

    Cheers,
    Victor Tong
