   It has been about 10 years since I have designed web pages. I just installed WP 3.3.1 with Fantastico via InMotionHosting with no problems. I'm not sure what I need to do now to start publishing stories and customizing the frontpage, at least for now.

   I run Ubuntu 10.04 32bit. Do I need to install WP on my machine as well, or can I do the editing via the cPanel of my web-hosting provider? If the former is necessary, how can I merge my site on my computer with my site online?

   Nevermind, I found the "first steps with wordpress page."

   Any other advice for something like what I am looking for...blogs, recipes, forums (at forum.veganpad.com), recipes?

   what plugins should I stay away from that is vulnerable to hackers?
