When I click on phpMyAdmin it shows nothing. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times but nothing shows… did I miss something?

You mean it shows nothing at all when you go to http://localhost/phpmyadmin (or something like http://localhost:8888/phpmyadmin) ?

hi there .. there is another option to access the database you can use sql buddy, if you problem is related to server than you have to install it again or is it related to phpmyadmin than you can use sql buddy instead of phpmyadmin….
