   I upgraded from 265 to the 2.7 RC1 on one blog and everything worked fine, on another the upgrade appeared to work without a hitch but when I try to load the site I just get a blank browser page.

   Any ideas? Thanks

   Might try to delete and reupload the WordPress files.

   I think the upgrade has done something to my database. If I do a new install of wp,with a new database the site works fine, I then restore my old database and its a blank page again. What has the upgrade done to my data, any ideas?

   Wonder if you delete your plugin files and all but the WordPress Default theme if the problem goes away?

   Well done, I narrowed it down to the WP-Sticky plug-in, once that was deleted the site works fine. Hopefully the plug-in will be upgraded

   2.7 has a native 'sticky' ability which you designate when writing/updating a post.

   I thought Lester said he wouldn't update that plugin for 2.7.

   Hi jimjam and Michael, yeap, I will be retiring WP-Sticky as WP2.7 has it already built in.

   I had a similar sounding issue, but for me it was permissions with the htaccess file. before I run the "update database" my htaccess file has 644 permissions - after they were 600. It took me a while to figure it out, but in the end that's what solved it for me.

   Thank goodness for this thread.

   I just upgraded and had a blank dashboard, deleted wp-sticky and it works fine now.

   Good tip!
