   I've installed a new theme via FTP but it's not appearing in the Themes on my Dashboard - anyone got any ideas?

   My FTP client said the transfer was successful, so I'm stumped...

   Any help appreciated!

   Have you tried installing any other themes? It could be that this theme is incompatible with WP 2.8.

   A common mistake most people do is upload the product obtained direct from unzipping the package. The actual theme folder is inside that resulting folder, if uploaded it wont show up in the list of your themes.
