Installed fine, updated a few things it wanted updated, picked mag basic theme and activated it, did settings.
Link to blog shows only directory listing.
Its like it isn't turned on! :)

Can you provide a link?
Yes!
http://sixties60s.com/sixties/
this is a show stopper for me, right at the gitgo...
Can you describe each step you took to install WordPress?
@kicker
Configure your "directory index" options to include .php files in your control panel options.
Using a Godaddy dedicated server.
I had to go root to do the PHP update required for WP. It seemed to go well.
I have only Godaddy Simple Control Panel.
I can do SSH with PUTTY, but am not all that good at it.
So where can I find DIRECTORY INDEX OPTIONS?
Shouldn't there be an .htaccess file or something in that SIXTIES directory?
Thanx...
Two more...
I am running Serendipity blog software on the same server I recently did the SSH PHP upgrade and it reads the php.index file.
I changed permissions for the WP index.php to 776 and no change.
Boy I need to get past this show stopper soon!
Thanx again!
Kicker
