I'm installing afresh as my other WP blog had only been going ten days, & I thought it would be easier to start afresh. This is the second time this has happened. I know it's installed as I've been given my username and password, but when I try to login I get a page blank except for this error (I added the square brackets for clarity).
[Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/username/public_html/wp/wp-config.php:24) in /home/username/public_html/wp/wp-login.php on line 7]
and then this:
[Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/username/public_html/wp/wp-config.php:24) in /home/username/public_html/wp/wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php on line 151]
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I've used WP on and off since version 0.something or other, but I'm hopeless at techie stuff!

the dot php file, the plugin file itself, needs to be checked for spaces at the very bottom of the page - scrolllllll down.
?>
^ look for spaces. I've just experienced this same thing with the acronym plugin.

I've done that to BOTH files that are causing the problem and it is still occurring.

The theme switcher is also not working all of a sudden.
It looks like the file "comment-functions.php" has been edited in some way. Has it ? If so, why ?

I have no idea. I have not altered it, but a designer did my site. I have tried to re-upload that file and overwrite the old one, but the same problem is still there.
