I've had a blog running at http://www.tranquilloft.com.au/cronulla-massage for several days and all was well. As is usual for this kind of installation, I have the wordpress.php fill changed to cronulla-massage.php.

This morning I got a 404 error screen.

The site was still present in ftp.

Called the host and they suggested I reinstall. I tried renaming the cronulla-massage.php file to blog.php and changed the cronulla-massage folder name to blog.

I then got an unformatted version of the site. Removed and reloaded the site several times but still got the unformatted version.

Gave up and reloaded the whole thing from scratch and now have the WordPress files in a folder called blog and the blog.php in the root folder. The wp-config.php file is the same as in the original installation.

Unfortunately, I get a white a screen now. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and how to fix it?

Just upload and install your WordPress in http://www.yoursite.com/blog and don't rename anything it will automatically pick up the index.php of WordPress installation showing up your blog.
