    Hello,
I got my domain name from Go Daddy and I'm using Dreamhost for webhosting.

I managed to install the WordPress web software to my dreamhost and got an email with a link to create my admin user. However, when I click on the link, I get an error 404 that says I've either "entered an incorrect URL into my browser's address bar" or that I "haven't uploaded content". I don't have any content yet because I just created everything.

How do I get past this error message to create my admin user account and get started on my website?
    Help!

  2. Hi PenRei, Did you change the DNS nameservers on GoDaddy to point the domain name to Dreamhost?

No I haven't. As you can tell, I'm very new at this.
I think I managed to find the information for my DNS nameservers. Thanks! Hopefully this will solve my problem.

  4. Hopefully that helps. Also, once the nameservers are updated, it'll take a few hours the new info to diseminate to all the DNS lookup servers. Bottomline: the link might not work right away.

It worked out in the end. It took a few tries, but all is well. Thank you Kevin and Mika E.
