Installed 3.5 now edit and other buttons don't work | WordPress.org

My website is fine. I am having issues within the WordPress dashboard adding a new post. The edit buttons and add buttons are not working. I tried it in 3 browsers no luck. When I turned on script debugging and it solved the problem.

-Try adding this to the wp-config.php: define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line). First, make sure that your browser has JavaScript enabled.

That did the trick. I know a little about php, but not enough. Can anyone tell me what this function does?

Oops, that broke the Cycle and Flex Sliders on my website.

No, that was a different problem. Fixed it.
