I installed WP 3.3.2 on my site http://www.saintraphael.org and now the drag and drop feature shows 'HTTP error' when I drag in a photo. Here was my procedure
    1. Made a backup with backup buddy
    2. Deactivated Builder Child Theme Default by activating WP Twenty Ten
    3. Deactivated all plugins
    4. installed WP 3.3.2
    5. Reactivated theme and plugins
    6. Opened a new post; tried to drag a photo; got http error.

Did this twice. Help please. Thank you.

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

I switched to twenty ten and deactivated all plugins but problem persists before I reactivate any plugins.
When dragging a photo (80k) using the uploader get "HTTP error".
When using the Browser Uploader get "Not Acceptable An appropriate representation of the requested resource /wp/wp-admin/media-upload.php could not be found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Should I try Twenty Eleven instead of Twenty Ten as a test?

    Should I try Twenty Eleven

    Yes.

    When dragging a photo

Where from? Your computer or another site? What browser are you using?

Dragging photo from desktop of computer. Using Firefox Browser.
Deactivated all plugins and activated Twenty Eleven. HTTP error again.
Reinstalled 3.3.2 with Twenty Eleven Theme and plugins still deactivated and HTTP error persists.

It could be a server (mod_security) issue but first, ask your hosts if your domain is set to use PHP as FastCGI or an Apache Module. FastCGI will cause upload errors.

Westhost Server notified me that my domain is set to Apache Module but they did detect a mod_security issue. They are testing to see if that is the problem. I'll post of success or failure.

Well - at least that's some progress. :-)

I am happy to report that your suggestion about mod_security was correct. The ISP created a Mod_Security exception and the drag and drop feature works. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
