• Hi!

    I’ve designed a few self-hosted WordPress websites and had no trouble whatsoever, even with a manual installation.

    However, I’m now working on a website for a friend using different hosting and I can’t get it to work.

    I’ve installed WordPress in the appropriate HTML-folder, deleted the standard index.html etc got the ‘installation succesful message’ and have no problem getting into the admin-panel. Unfortunately, I still get the white screen of death and I can’t figure out what I did wrong.

    Can someone help me out?

  • Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

    Are you using the default theme or a custom one? Try switching to the default one.
